Sliema

The popular and fashionable resort of Sliema developed from a quiet fishing village to Malta's largest coastal resort. Located on the peninsula across from Marsamxett Harbour in Valletta on the island's eastern side, Sliema is well liked by both families and couples. There is a superb choice of stylish restaurants, bars and cafes to enjoy, particularly around the waterfront and busy promenade, and Sliema also offers a host of sophisticated boutiques and fashionable shops in the area called “The Ferries”, great for unique holiday purchases. Top tip: head to Tigné Point for some of the best views of Valletta’s skyline.
